SURPRISE defeat of the week was the Knockout Cup win by Burnley Road A away at First Division Ribblesdale Wanderers B.
Close on the heels of this came the defeats of both Second and Third Division leaders Salesbury Blues, losing at home to Rushton St E, and Grange going down 8-2 to new leaders Whalley B.
Bottom club in Division Two, Rishton BC, had a tremendous win at College 9-1.
In Division One, Globe B move into top spot as last week's leaders Globe A were once again victims of the rain.
Immanuel continue at the top of Division Four with another 9-1 win over Sabden C. Gatty Park remain second and with the prospect of both teams clashing this week, and Gatty having the home advantage, the positions could well be different next week.
