COULD someone please explain why this so-called Labour government is spending millions of our taxes on waging war on a Third World country which has never been approved by the people who pay these taxes?
All this is when here in England we have 1.5 million registered unemployed and possibly another 1.5 million jobless who, due to regulations, are not registered, another 0.5 million without proper housing, 25 million who earn poverty-line wages and our overcrowded schools and hospitals short of funds. We also have to pay for thousands of unwelcome and unwanted refugees and outcasts from other nations.
In 1815 the final battle against France and Napoleon was fought. In 1965 the final payment for the money borrowed to pay for this war was paid.
The cost of the First World War is still being paid as is that of the Second World War, the Falklands and the Gulf wars.
Now the tax payer is lumbered with the Serbian one. At this rate, we will be paying until the year 2149 - and all for the sake of some politician's ego.
