HAYDOCK Park has announced a bumper line-up for the summer as its prepares to celebrate its 100th birthday.
The Centenary Grandstand will open at the end of May after a £3 million re-building programme.
Then a feast of attractions on and off the course to rival any racecourse in Britain flows out over three months.
They include:
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson's charity raceday on Sunday July 11.
Haydock's first-ever Saturday evening meeting on August 14.
Four ladies nights on Friday and Saturday evenings in June, July and August.
And, as well as the racing, the racecourse will stage an open-air concert by Simply Red on Sunday August 22 for which tickets have just gone on sale.
Racecourse managing director Richard Thomas said: "There hasn't been a summer like this at Haydock Park before.
"We're delighted that our new grandstand that takes the place of the 100-year-old County Stand will be open within a matter of weeks."
