After 25 overs Morecambe had scored 80 runs against 50 from Leyland Daf.
The mainstay of Daf's innings was opener Stuart M- atterall who made 56.
He batted 131 minutes and hit two fours.

John Eccles, with 4 for 18 from his 9 overs allocation, was the pick of the Morecambe bowling attack.
In reply, Morecambe's professional Ashwell Prince top scored with 50.
His half-century came in 95 minutes and included 7 fours.
However, the game revolved round a last wicket partnership between wicket-keeper Damien Gudgeon and fast bowler Peter Stephens who added 26 runs.
For Leyland Daf their professional Stephen John took 4 for 32.
Simon Hogan, who represents Great Britain's deaf and dumb Olympic cricket team, took 4 for 35.
In the second round of the Vaux Samson Cup on Sunday, May, 30 Lancaster and Morecambe are away to St Annes and Darwen respectively.
This Saturday sees a return to the league programme.
Morecambe play host to Darwen at Woodhill Lane and this will be a tough fixture because the visitors are currently top of the table.
Lancaster travel to Preston and this will not be easy because the current wooden spoonists have already won two games this season.
