UNHAPPY Hag Folders are asking how much pain do they have to endure before an end is put to their suffering.
Residents have repeatedly complained to the local authority about disturbances from the neighbouring Gregory Avenue children's home in Atherton.
Now they are urging instant action to ease their torment.
One of them, Wayne Burrows claims a neighbour was physically assaulted and left with a bloody nose in the latest incident.
And Mr Burrows says reassurances from Wigan Council's Stephen Jones are not enough.
He has again written to the Chief Executive and also to Social Services committee chairman Cllr Alan Stephenson, highlighting his renewed concerns about the behaviour of residents at the local authority home.
He said: "The inspector promised by Mr Jones to initiate change will only be employed by at least the end of May.
"They will then have to familiarise themselves with and understand the problem before they can begin to propose changes.
"This could mean we will continue to experience disturbances until summer at least."
A local authority spokesman said: "We understand Mr Burrows' concern and we are trying to get this done as quickly as possible.
"We have engaged extremely competent consultants and this is the first possible opportunity it can be fitted into their timetable."
