TWO police guns were found lying in a Blackburn street.
It was understood that the Smith and Wesson weapons were found by a member of the public in Sudell Cross, and came from a police armed response vehicle.
An investigation was launched into the incident, in which it was believed the guns were accidentally left on the roof of the vehicle during a shift changeover.
