TWO masked men burst into the Spar Food Market, Manchester Road, Burnley, and escaped with a substantial amount of cash.
The incident happened at 10.15pm last night as two members of staff were about to lock up for the night.
Two men in balaclava masks pushed the man and woman back into the shop and demanded money.
Although no weapon was used, police said the victims were terrified by the extremely aggressive behaviour of the robbers.
One of the men was described as in his early 20s, about 5ft 9in and slim. The other was about 6ft and slim.
