WEST Lancashire League club Padiham have announced their new management line-up for the 1999-2000 football season.
Former Burnley, Birmingham and Stoke City central defender Vince Overson is to team up with last season's first team manager Graham Howarth to run the Storks first team on a joint management basis.
Dave Scott has taken over as the club's new A team manager in the Burnley and District Football League.
However, the surprise resignation of reserve team manager Alan Smith after five years in the post, leaves Padiham in need of a replacement and interested parties are asked to write to Padiham FC's secretary Colin Barker at 40 Carter Street, Burnley, giving details of their previous experience and reasons for wanting to be considered for the position.
Preparations are already well under way for next season and pre-season training will begin a week earlier on Tuesday, June 29.
Further details on the club's up and coming activities and for information on how to join the club as a player or in another capacity can be obtained from Alan Smith on 01282 771963 whose main responsibilities at the club over the next 12 months is the completion of Padiham's new clubhouse and changing room facility, further ground improvements and the raising of the extra finances required to fund the projects.
Any former players who feel they can help with the fund raising or make a contribution themselves, should write to: Alan Smith at 242 Burnley Road, Padiham, BB12 8SS.
