WHEN it was closed by the county council, my sister and others were moved from a good home at the Burnside Home for the Elderly in Blackburn and went to Shadsworth House, another good home.
After Shadsworth House was closed by Blackburn Social Services, they were moved again.
They had no choice, though my sister had died before this last move.
Now, it is on the cards that some of these homes will be re-opened for the refugees from Kosovo.
I and thousands of others are deeply sorry for these people, but why do not the people in stately homes with lots of rooms open their hearts and homes to these poor suffers.
