SUNNYHURST A and Blackburn Northern A have opened up a seven-point gap at the top of the Slazenger East Lancs Tennis League Open Division One.
Accrington A are struggling at the foot of the table with just one point gained this season following their promotion last term.
In Division Two Northern B and Whalley are joint leaders, four points clear of Burnley C.
It is much closer in Division Three with four teams separated by just two-and-a-half points. Burnley A and East Lancs are neck and neck in the Ladies League with Burnley having a game in hand with Northern A in contention.
Burnley A lead the pack in the Mixed League, holding a one-and-a-half point advantage over Sunnyhurst A.
