Police today appealed for anyone who may have been approached by the attacker to come forward.

The assault happened at 8.20pm on Friday in an area known as the Bull Fields, off Calderbrook Avenue, Manchester Road, Burnley. The victim is said to have been badly traumatised by his ordeal.
