FUND-raisers are being offered the chance to tackle TV's famous Krypton Factor course and gather cash for an East Lancashire charity at the same time.
Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle is one of the charities involved in this year's Krypton Factor Challenge, a unique fund-raising event over the August Bank Holiday weekend at the assault course at Holcombe Brook, near Bury.
The event is being organised under the umbrella of the Children's Hospital Appeal which raises money for children's health care in the North West. It is also an opportunity for people to raise money for charities in their own areas.
The Hospice is looking for teams of four people who will rise to the challenge of trying to beat the course record of four-and-a-half minutes and in doing so raise money for the group.
The charity is particularly looking for corporate sponsored teams to compete for the Pendleside Award trophies for the fastest company and fastest organisation across the finish line.
Anyone interested can call Kaye Bartle at Pendleside Hospice, Reedley, on 01282 440100.
