DELIGHTED fundraisers saw the culmination of six months' hard work when a specially adapted minibus was handed over to an Accrington family. The "Friends of Frankie" raised £8,500 to buy transport for 19-year-old Frankie Beavis, who was left severely mentally and physically handicapped after a convulsion when he was a baby. The vehicle would be doubly useful as Frankie's father, Don, was also confined to a wheelchair.
