I ASK people to support the £1.3 million hospice appeal in East Lancashire, where I was privileged to be a volunteer for 12 years until ill health stopped me.
It nearly broke my heart to finish. I met some wonderful and very courageous people and I learned an awful lot about life and priorities there.
