BUSINESSES are being asked to put their waste materials to good use.
Environmental organisation Groundwork Blackburn, is looking for firms which can supply various items for use in craft projects.
The organisation launched its 'Making Waste Work for Schools' project about 18 months ago.
A number of companies across East Lancashire have signed up and regularly donate waste materials, which are then passed on to schools and community groups.
But more materials are needed - in particular wire for sculpture and jewellery-making, Perspex, Vilene, small reels of cotton, wadding, holographic paper or card, coloured card, foam and small mirrors.
Groundwork will collect the items from the company premises.
Anyone interested in donating materials should contact Marie Feathers at Groundwork on 01254 265163.
