WHY do many motorists find it so difficult to use their indicators correctly?
The other day I was walking near the junction of Victoria Road West and Princess Road in Cleveleys.
As I looked back, there were three cars following each other.
The first indicated he was turning half way round the corner, while the other two didn't bother indicating at all.
This is not an uncommon sight and drivers of all ages are guilty of not always using their indicators, which is inconsiderate towards pedestrians.
This driving behaviour often occurs at junctions and drivers then complain that pedestrians don't take enough notice of oncoming traffic.
I read that the police want to make driving in the Fylde and Wyre areas safer.
One way motorists can help achieve this is to use their indicators when necessary and to use them correctly.
So come on you motorists, you may even save a life or at least an injury.
