SINGING truck drivers The Heathrow Flyers are swapping their denims and boots for gymslips and stilettos to transform themselves into schoolgirls for an outrageous charity show.
Band members Les Brown and Chris Lima, who are both from Accrington, will join Kelvin Purcell from London and Chris McLaughlin from Salford to become the Flying Tarts at Spring Hill WMC, Accrington, tonight at 8pm to raise money for Chaigley Manor children's home in the Ribble Valley.
Les said: "The show is not for the faint hearted as the act gets a bit raunchy, but it's all good fun."
The Heathrow Flyers, who are all HGV drivers, have been together for more than five years and regularly play at truck festivals and truckstops across the country.
