THE Lions face the long trip to Cumbria on Sunday as they bid to keep their mini-revival on track.
Mike Gregory's men head for Workington on the back of a morale-boosting 31-24 derby victory over Oldham Roughyeds at Gigg Lane.
It was only their fifth win in 14 outings this season but lifted them up to 13th place in the table.
With a hefty seven points to make up on York, who are sitting in the last of the five play-off places, it promises to be a desperate fight to the finish if the Lions are to put up a challenge for a Super League place next year.
Workington will be no pushovers. They are five places and five points ahead of Swinton and are always a tough proposition on home turf.
With crunch clashes against high-flying Batley, Hull KR and Hunslet to come in the next few weeks, it is vital Gregory's side pick up the two points.
