THE local branch of International Aid have organised a hot pot supper and audio visual presentation of their work. The group, which has recently collected 30 tons of humanitarian aid for refugees in Albania, is hoping to attract more supporters and helpers.
Said a spokesman: "Since the Kosovan crisis International Aid has been totally involved in supplying aid for refugees and has been overwhelmed by the support of local people."
The hot pot supper will take place at Torrisholme Methodist Church Hall on June 11 at 7pm. For more information about International Aid call Elaine on 413310.
