PEOPLE who let their dogs foul the pavements and don't clean up the mess afterwards are disgusting, as are people who spit on pavements.
Tuberculosis is on the increase and reaching high proportions.
The TB bacillus lives in sputum and when this is spat on to pavements by an infected person, it dries and the germs in it become airborne and are breathed in by others - and, hey presto, more cases of TB develop.
People who spit on pavements should be fined heavily. It is a disgusting habit and a threat to the health of us all.
