HAIRDRESSER Carol Cottam swapped roles when the mayor popped in for a cut and blow dry.
Carol, who runs Roots Hair Salon in Hancock Street, Blackburn, invited the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen round to help her celebrate her 10th birthday in business.
And Carol, who regularly cuts Councillor Florence Oldfield and Ann Sharples' hair, enjoyed a welcome chance to put her feet and be pampered while her guests gave her a new look.
