GREAT Harwood Town have been officially relegated to the North Western Trains League following the UniBond League's decision to promote Ossett Town.
The Showgrounders had hoped for a relegation reprieve because the North East Counties outfit were struggling to get their ground up to scratch in time for the May 31 deadline.
But league officials gave their Ingfield stadium the thumbs up at a final inspection yesterday and the Wakefield-based club will now replace Harwood in the UniBond First Division.
Chorley officials, however, will have to wait another 24 hours before hearing of their fate.
The Magpies are currently sweating on a ground inspection at Hucknall Town to determine whether or not they are relegated to the UniBond First Division and that took place today.
