MANCHESTER United fans will be bidding to buy an autographed football from the side that won the treble of Premiership, FA Cup and European Champions' Cup.
Colne Gala Committee are auctioning the ball, with a reserve price of £300, on the gala field at Alkincoats Park on Saturday at 4.45pm to raise money for Kosovan refugees.
It is hoped some of the refugees at Calderstones will be able to visit the gala.
There will also be a collection on the day for refugees, and the gala committee is planning an entertainment special to be performed at Calderstones.
Organisers are now looking for children's entertainers such as magicians and puppeteers who can help out on the day.
There are also plans for a disco for older children and adults and refreshments.
Anyone who can help can contact Maureen Regan on 01282 863325.
Colne Gala parade starts on Skipton Road and goes through the town centre before culminating at Alkincoats Park.
