BOTH Divisions saw two unbeaten teams tying with each other at the top.
In the Second Division, SS Lucas just pipped Sough Athletic for top place on goals scored after both sides recorded two more victories this weekend. Behind them lay three teams with 12 points with Hamilton looking the most likely to challenge, also still unbeaten and with two games in hand.
Castle View and Miners Arms are the other outsiders who may yet move up. At the foot of the table both Protec FC and the young Athletico Redcap are finding life hard and still remain pointless with half their games played. In the First Division Manxman FC and Malt & Hops are neck and neck with only a couple of goals to separate the pair. Both teams had easy wins on Saturday, Malt & Hops with an 8-0 success over Shadsworth Centre and Manxman with a 9-1 win against Super B. Angel had a ding-dong battle with Medin and only just came out on top with a 7-5 scoreline.
This win maintains Angels' challenge for the top. GW Flooring had two good wins this weekend to draw them level on points with Angel. Pizza Planet and Medin both moved up the table after gaining three points in Sunday's games. Graham & Brown are finding goals the problem with the worst goals scored in both divisions and are struggling at the foot of the table because of it. Also struggling for points in the First are the inexperienced Pendle Youth who remain without a point at the bottom.
