SCHOOLGIRL Rebecca Gregory has raised more than £1,000 for cancer charities - and she hasn't finished yet.
Rebecca, 14, of Hawthorne Close, Barrowford, lost an uncle and grandmother to cancer and saw an auntie beat the disease.
She has organised a string of fund-raising events and hopes to boost the amount when her school, St Christopher's CE High, Accrington, holds an American day and disco in the near future.
She has been busy using her expertise as a fund-raiser and has secured prizes including signed photographs of Liverpool and England footballer Michael Owen and his Liverpool captain Paul Ince, who also sent a personal reply.
There are also two teddy bears from boy band 5ive and 11 signed photographs from chart topping singer and former EastEnders actress Martine McCutcheon.
