THE Royal International Air Tattoo, held in partnership with British Aerospace, will send you into orbit with high-flying airshow entertainment.
And you and a friend can win tickets to the Gloucestershire event courtesy of the event organisers and the Citizen.
We have ten pairs of adult tickets, worth £50 per pair, to give away.
As well as the sensational eight hour flying display performed by real life Top Guns, there will be a full two miles of parked hardware, hot air balloons, the razzmatazz of military bands, stalls, exhibits, roadshows and much, much more.
The magnificent Il Frecce Tricolori will head the list of national aerobatics teams to say Happy 35th Birthday to the famous RAF Red Arrows (pictured).
More than 450 of the World's greatest aircraft will appear at the show.
The airborne might of NATO will be on display for a celebration of its 50th anniversary.
More than 50 aircraft will line up on the taxi-way, canopies up, lights on as hovering helicopters fly the national flags of NATO countries.
Allied and former Eastern Bloc aircraft will fly past in a soaring demonstration of international friendship, led by the world famous Red Arrows.
A unique contest will see NATO engineers on red alert, racing against the clock and each other to equip another NATO partner's aircraft - so the RAF could be preparing a MiG 29 for combat.
The Royal Auxiliary Air Force will take part in an hour long flying pageant with similar organisations from around the world to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
The doors to RAF Fairford open at 6.30am on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. Adult advance tickets are available at £19.95 on 0891 122997 or on the day at £25. Calls to the 0891 number cost 50p per minute of which 15p per minute is donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund Enterprises.
To win a pair of tickets, simply answer the following question:
What anniversary do the Red Arrows celebrate this year?
Send your answer, along with your name, address and telephone number, to: Citizen/Tattoo competition, 3 Winckley Court, Winckley Square, Preston, PR1 3JJ.
