THE Rev Eric Joselin planned a 45-mile walk of witness to raise cash for Ribble Valley churches.
The 70-year-old prepared to walk the Pendle Way carrying a wooden cross, a feat he had accomplished 21 years previously when he covered 80-miles on a similar fund-raising mission.
Mr Joselin, of Riverside, Clitheroe, was a minister at Whalley Methodist Church in 1973 when he took his first steps to generate cash.
