ST ANNES moved to the semi-finals of the Vaux Samson Cup with a comfortable 87 runs win over Lancaster in the second round.
Batting first, St Annes made 227-6 courtesy of their professional Dave Callaghan who top scored with 86 and opener Andy Kellett who contributed 84.
In reply, Lancaster were dismissed for 140.
There were some excellent bowling performances from Joe Davies who took 3-17, Adrian Darlington 3-24 and David Taylor with 3-39.
The Vaux Samson semi-finals on Sunday June 20 will be contested by Chorley v Darwen and Netherfield v St Annes.
