NORTH End have lined up some big-name pre-season opponents.
Their friendlies fixture list kicks off with a clash against Premiership new boys Sunderland at Deepdale on Thursday, July 29 (ko 7.45pm).
Preston then travel to Bolton Wanderers against First Division Bolton Wanderers, arranged for Sunday August 1 (ko 3pm) at the Reebok Stadium.
A match against Dunfermline will take place on Saturday, July 24. As in previous seasons, there will also be a programme of derby games against local non-league sides including Preston North End.
Chief executive Tony Scholes said: "The pre-season fixtures serve a dual purpose in that they give the players a chance to be ready for the new season and also give the fans some exciting entertainment.
"It will also give David Moyes the chance to use any new signings.
"I am sure that fans will be delighted with the standard of opposition we have lined up for our two main games and we are all looking forward to them."
