VICTIMS of a burglary in Morecambe were surprised when the housebreakers returned part of the booty via post this week. The burglars posted back a driving license from Cheshire to the victims on Woodlands Drive.
"I've never heard of anything like this before," said Acting DS Dave Alexander of Lancaster police. The burglars struck between May 11 and 24. They also took cash, a watch and other personal documents.
