A BUSINESSWOMAN is determined to continue trading despite a heartbreaking £15,000 raid on her shop early on Wednesday.
The robbery at designer children's wear shop Hippee Chick in Parr Lane, Unsworth, was the latest to plague owner Miss Deborah Corris.
Police chased eight raiders through Whitefield and Prestwich as they escaped in two cars.
Since the shop opened last September, it has been raided three times.
Miss Corris said: "There are attempted break-ins virtually once a week."
She has already invested in iron gates and roller shutters.
"It's like Fort Knox," she said.
Wednesday's raiders broke in via an upstairs window.
Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call Whitefield CID on 856 8248.
