THE Council's largest group has written to the district auditor asking what the latest position is regarding their investigation into the Crinkley Bottom disaster.
"We are determined that the truth will be put into the public arena as soon as possible," pledged MBI leader, Tricia Heath.
"Several people, like myself, who were present at many of the decision making meetings have not been called forward to make statements.
"We seem to be continuously facing delays. Hopefully the district audit office will be able to shed some light on the subject."
Cllr Geoff Wilson said: "This is just one of the many issues which need to be put to bed as soon as possible. We are not going to let it lie forgotten."
