DISABLED golfer Alan Campbell is back on the winning trail.
He followed his victory in the National Championships with success in the Bob Reynolds Memorial Handicap at Southport.
On a windy course, the Leigh man took the event by one stroke with a four-under-par performance.
His showing also saw his handicap drop from 45 to 40.
His next tournament will be at the High Elms club in Bromley, Kent, at the end of the month.
Alan, of Manchester Road, said: "Despite the big drop in my handicap I am hopeful of doing well at High Elms where I enjoyed playing last year."
His handicap drop is a major step to his goal of 36 - a figure that will open the doors to many European events.
