GLAZEBURY CC lost their 100% record with a draw against Vulcan.
The visitors hit 188-9, four of their batsmen getting into the 20s - but Paul Warhurst picked up FOUR catches in the field.
And there were three wickets each for Jon Gibbons and Gareth Banks.
The adventurous Glazebury, never a team to sit back, took up the challenge and went for the runs, quickly losing wickets in the process.
Opener Graham Harrop gathered 25 but Gibbons, underlining his credentials as an all-rounder, top scored with an emphatic 53.
At the close they were 169-8.
The Seconds went down heavily at Vulcan despite Andy Durrington's marvellous 5-99 as the home side hit 173.
In reply, Glazebury struggled against some accurate bowling and were dismissed for 78.
