A BID to speed up the construction of Blackburn Rovers' super stadium was kicked out by Blackburn Council.
Members of the planning and highways committee rejected suggestions of longer working hours, claiming residents were entitled to evening peace and quiet in the summer months. The club wanted to work from 7.30am to 8pm.
