WILL your school be featured in our "Time Capsule" Commemorative millennium supplement for schools, to be published in December?
An invitation to take part in the project has been sent to all schools within our circulation area and 20 schools have already signed up to reserve their pages, to be written by pupils and designed by our editorial staff.
Every participating school will be offered free space to feature their school at the time of the millennium and the supplement will no doubt be treasured by pupils and form a ready-made history resource for future generations.
Many teachers attended a series of informal meetings and placements, funded by the Teacher Placement Service, to discuss the project, but schools who were unable to send staff to the meetings can still take part in this unique opportunity to showcase every school free of charge.
For details, including important deadlines, teachers should look for the "Time Capsule" information already received, or contact our NIE co-ordinator.
