TEACHERS will be pelted with wet sponges as part of the fun at Moor End County Primary School's summer fair on Saturday.
Youngsters from the school in White Ash Lane, Oswaldtwistle, will take part in Maypole and country dancing. Line dancing group Applejacks are also set to perform at the fair, which runs from 11am to 3pm.
Headteacher Steve Isherwood and his deputy Andy Upton have agreed to sit in the stocks and have wet sponges thrown at them.
Other attractions include netball shooting, a football tournament, tombola, raffle, face painting and competitions. Refreshments will include teas, snacks and a barbecue.
