ALL-OUT war was declared on East Lancashire's railway vandals.
Railtrack North West and British Transport Police announced a pioneering "get tough" clampdown to ban the yobs from the lines for good.
The two-pronged attack would see police and railway staff on trains to alert backup squads about vandals and trespassers.
