JETSUN Sunbeds and G&G Plumbing served up a feast of excellent football in a pulsating match which culminated in a 4-4 draw, in the Barden Community Association Senior Seven-A-Side Summer League.

Jetsun's striker Mark Barnes was on fire, he opened the scoring after just two minutes and had completed his hat-trick after 10 minutes.

As so often happened before, Tom Fallows popped up to score two in two minutes to reduce the deficit to just one as the half-time whistle was blown. Five minutes into the second half Brendan Park equalised for G&G, only for Andy Kelly to hit a screamer from 30 yards within a minute to keep Jetsun ahead. But there was to be a final twist in the tale as Park grabbed another to even the scores once more.

Marsden Cross and P&M Motors were evenly matched with the odd-goal-in-five tipping the balance in P&M's favour. P&M took a two-goal lead early in the first half before two quickfire goals from each side made it 3-1 to P&M before Barrie Thompson had them gnawing their nails until the final whistle. Pendle Forest and Adpak Aces drew a stalemate in which Forest's keeper Danny Turner kept them in it against a very useful Adpak. Oaks United kept up their chase for Borrowdale United's top spot with a 2-1 win over One Step Beyond in which Beyond took the lead through Danny Gildert, before Michael Yabantu bagged a brace to secure all three points.

The Kestrels dropped to their knees in dismay as Borrowdale snatched the points in stoppage time through Chris Rogers after the Kestrels looked stronger as the match went on.
