LANCASHIRE will be aiming to prevent Yorkshire from wrapping up the Northern Counties Women's Golf Championship today when they meet in the fourth round at Clitheroe.
Having already beaten Cheshire, Yorkshire could virtually seal the title for the second successive season and qualify for the English finals if they overcome their Roses rivals.
The White Rose county warmed up for the contest by easily sweeping aside Durham 8-1 yesterday.
But Lancashire are also a team in form and they'll be no pushovers following their 7-1 victory over Northumberland.
Three up after the doubles, Clitheroe's Kim Andrew then lead the way for Lancashire in the singles with a 5 and 4 victory over her home course.
