A Mr Tony Malone, who lives on the South Coast, seeks information about relatives in the Bury and Radcliffe areas. He has traced James Malone, a wheelwright, who married Ann Carter in 1809 at Radcliffe Parish Church. Their children Thomas and John were cloggers in Tottington. Some of the family are buried in St Anne's churchyard there. Some Malones worked at Bury gas works and a female Malone married into the Bradley family. A descendant, Jim Bradley, was recently a market trader.
Mr Tony Malone is at 3 Windermere Crescent, Goring by Sea, Worthing, W. Sussex BN12 6JY. Tel: 01903 246486.
