PUPILS from King Edward VII School, Lytham, have rhymed their way to victory in the school's annual poetry and prose reading festival.
Paul Tognarelli, of Preston, won the senior section with Michael Holdsworth, of Lytham Road, Lytham, a close second.
Andrew Hodgson, of Bromley Road, St Annes, took the prize in the first year competition.
The performances of Jamie Bamber, Thomas Fowler, Philip Harrison, Simon Davies and Thomas Halliday were also praised by the judges.
David Higgins, head of theatre studies at King Edward's, commended the high standards.
