MANCHESTER United are not the only English team to return home with a European trophy after beating the Germans.
Clifton Rangers U14s team from Blackpool can do no wrong since being given a new football strip from the Co-op Late Shop at Mereside.
On Friday (June 18) the boys returned to the store in their kit and with the trophy they won in Bottrop.
Playing in their new strip for the first time, Clifton won their way through six games and took the final on penalties.
The new playing strip was gained through the Co-op's Late Shop Community Drive Award scheme, which provides grants of up to £1,000 for worthy community groups nominated by customers.
Judging takes place every four months and application forms are available in all Late Shop stores.
