CAREERS within the environment and conservation sector were explained to pupils at Blackburn's Westholme School during an Industry Day.
Students in year 10 met representatives from companies and took part in workshops, problem solving activities and projects during the day.
Careers officer Denise Pamphlett explained: "The main aims of the day were to raise awareness of current environmental issues, challenges and solutions and to raise awareness of the range of roles and careers within the environmental and conservation industry."
