THE dustmen of the Ribble Valley simply refuse-d to be beaten!
And as a result, they were celebrating victory in the battle for the refuse collection contract to secure their jobs, and save taxpayers more than £100,000 a year.
The men at the Kirkmoor Road depot in Clitheroe, had to fight off competition from other companies to win the contract.
