A 54-YEAR-OLD grandma who scooped £50,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard made her first dream come true yesterday when she went to collect her winnings in a stretch Limousine.
Lucky Brenda Wainwright decided to splash out on the car to take her to Camelot's offices in Liverpool after hitting the jackpot on Friday.
Brenda, of Manxman Road, Blackburn, said the trip fulfilled a lifelong ambition for her.
"I have always had a thing about limos and I've even got a model of one in the house, so when I realised I had won £50,000 I thought I would treat myself.
"It's my birthday next month and I've booked another one to take me and my friends out. I can't wait."
Brenda, who has four children and two grandchildren, said she could not sleep over the weekend as she waited to cash in her prize.
And she revealed how she stuffed the winning ticket down her bra at first, but later kept it hidden in the bathroom light.
