SHOULD we really quibble about footballers being paid £20,000 a week, or female tennis stars demanding pay parity with men when a dog, Chart King, is currently coining it in by the tens of thousands?
Greyhound Derby winner Chart King collected a cool £50,000 for his win at Wimbledon, to follow the £20,000 for claiming the Scottish Derby.
Now the dog is on course for another 50 grand, plus a bonus of £100,000 from a tobacco company, if he wins the Irish Derby in Dublin this September!
A dog's life? I think not.
