PROTEC FC won their first game of the season against fellow strugglers TLM Blackburn by an amazing 13-2 scoreline.
SS Lucas returned to the top of Division Two by beating Athletico Redcap 6-2. This division's title could be settled in the next few weeks with some interesting fixtures between the top clubs still to come.
The first division's top game saw Pizza Planet dent Angels championship hopes with a 3-1 victory. Manxman and Malt and Hops both had big wins over opponents Shadsworth and GW Flooring. Jubilee Hotel hit six goals without reply against Pendle Youth and Medin only just overcame Comet 1-0.
In the Lawrenson Cup second round, Malt and Hops moved into a 3-1 lead only for Jubilee Hotel to nick the tie 4-3.
The Pub disposed of First Division rivals in Super B. Sough Athletic, one time Second Division title challengers, lost their third game in a row, this time to lowly Athletico Redcap.
Manxman strolled to an 8-2 success against Waterside. GW Flooring comfortably overcame RHP Bearings, and Pump Handle could blame missed chances in their defeat by Hamilton.
Miners Arms easily beat First Division Shadsworth Centre and the Angel strolled to victory over a disappointing Medin.
The Lawrenson Cup quarter-finals will be played on Sunday. Draw - 1pm: The Pub v Jubilee Hotel (P1); 1pm: Angel v Athletico Redcap (P2); 2pm: Miners Arms v Hamilton (P1); 2pm: Manxman v GW Flooring (P2).
