PRIMARY schools from across the county will descend on Preston Cricket Club on Wednesday, July 14, to take part in the Lancashire Kwik Cricket Tournament.
The tournament, aimed at primary schools across the county, was launched by Sir Robert Atkins 10 years ago in a bid to halt the decline of cricket in schools.
Schools from each of the county's boroughs have been playing their own tournaments to decide who gets a place in the final in July 14.
Eight teams will play on the day, with the event running between 12.30 and 4pm on the day.
British Aerospace is backing the event.
