THE all-conquering Leigh Centurions will be the star attraction at Leigh Lions' Club fun day tug-of-war.
The Leigh Charter Centenary celebration event, to be opened by the Mayor and Mayoress, Cllrs Bill and Evelyne Smith, takes place at Leigh Miners Rangers Manchester Road, Leigh, ground on July 10 between 11am and 4pm.
Local pub and club teams will vie with the Centurions to win a barrel of beer.
Other attractions include a fun fair, tombola, welly throwing and a car boot sale.
Admission is by programme, priced 50p, from any Lions member or purchased on the day.
All proceeds will be distributed to local children's charities.
Parking is available in Bedford High School opposite.
